In March, a purple mural popped up in Los Angeles with “OR” painted on the wall against her signature color for the last two albums. Her official fanbase social media accounts posted videos with tags like “#OliviaIsComing” and “#OR3.” The wall was then painted a shade of pink, matching the dress on Rodrigo’s album cover, with the word “love” painted atop, signaling her shift in color scheme for the upcoming album.

Rodrigo cleared her Instagram feed, making the album announcement her only post, and she changed her profile photo to a doll in a pink dress. She posted a story linking to pre-orders over a tweet that read, “He thought desire came without inherent suffering! He mad!!!” Signed pre-orders of the album available on her site had already sold out in under an hour.
It’s unclear if a tour or performances will be announced for the new album; Rodrigo isn’t slated to headline any of the major summer festivals at the moment.
