Oil prices were back higher on Wednesday as U.S.-Iran tensions escalate again.
As of late Wednesday afternoon, international benchmark Brent crude was trading at about $91 per barrel, up from as low as about $83 earlier this week.
That price is still well below the pre-ceasefire highs and prices last week, which reached as high as $101 per barrel.
But the latest jump comes as Iran fired missiles at a U.S. base in Jordan.
In response, President Trump on Wednesday said he would “beat the f‑‑‑ing s‑‑‑ out of” Iran.
“They’re going to get a beating,” Trump told Fox News.
The average U.S. gasoline price was about $4.09 per gallon on Wednesday, according to AAA.
