Blue Finch Films Blue Finch Films has come aboard as worldwide sales agent on Norwegian psychological horror “You’ve Been Chosen,” which will be presented at the Frontières Proof of Concept showcase during next month’s Cannes Film Festival.
Frontières is a leading genre-focused co-production and pitch market, running annually alongside the Cannes Film Market.
Written and directed by Viljar Bøe, the film follows Fredrik, a man whose life is upended when he begins receiving anonymous letters with instructions that reward obedience and punish resistance. Drawn deeper into an increasingly brutal system, he is forced to confront the limits of his own free will and the true cost of belonging. The project is rooted in themes of loneliness, psychological control and the seductive pull of structure in an isolated life.
