Ahead of the third season of “Game of Thrones” prequel series “House of the Dragon,” Warner Bros. Games and HBO have announced “Game of Thrones: Dragonfire,” a new free-to-play mobile strategy game based on the Targaryen dynasty drama. Developed by Warner Bros. Games Boston, “Game of Thrones: Dragonfire” aims to bring the studio’s expertise to a “modern, approachable social strategy experience where tactical warfare, territorial expansion and the unrivaled power of dragons combine to redefine how players battle for control of the Seven Kingdoms.” The game will take inspiration from events portrayed in HBO’s “House of the Dragon,” with players able to experience the narrative of a Valyrian descendant responsible for hatching, raising and flying dragons.
