It’s been nearly 25 years since the September 11 attacks, and the commemorations begin with a new docuseries titled 9/11 Reunited, reconnecting what were once strangers to tell their stories, express gratitude and spotlight heroism.

The three-part special airs in full on Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. PT/ET on National Geographic, available via any live TV streaming service that carries said network, namely DirecTV (which offers a five-day free trial), Fubo (also offering a five-day trial), Sling and Hulu + Live TV.

Alternatively, all three parts will be available to stream on demand the following day (Aug. 22) on Disney+.

At a Glance: How to Watch 9/11 Reunited

The logline reads, “9/11 Reunited tells the story of September 11 through the eyes of survivors who experienced life-or-death moments with strangers that day and now want to meet again. Made with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum to mark the 25th anniversary, this major new series foregrounds stories of heroism and humanity amidst the worst terror attacks in U.S. history.”

All three parts of the docuseries air on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026 at 8 p.m. PT/ET on National Geographic.

Where to Stream 9/11 Reunited Online

Since the docuseries airs on National Geographic, it will also be available to watch live on any live TV streaming service that carries said network, including DirecTV (with a five-day free trial), Fubo (with a five-day free trial), Sling and Hulu + Live TV.

The day after airing on cable, all three parts will drop on Disney+. While the streamer doesn’t offer a free trial directly, viewers can get free access through any of DirecTV’s Signature packages, which include the Disney and Hulu bundle and offer a five-day free trial.
