©Netflix/Courtesy Everett Colle Netflix’s push to release more films on the big screen hasn’t come without a few hiccups. Most recently, theater chains including Regal Cinemas are declining to play the streaming platform’s “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth” on their Imax screens. Cinemark also turned down the “Cliff Booth” booking, according to sources.
“Cliff Booth,” which stars Brad Pitt and is directed by David Fincher, is still set to play on AMC’s Imax screens for a two-week release beginning Nov. 25 before releasing on the streaming platform Dec. 23.
