Courtesy of Netflix Netflix has picked up two new standalone seasons of its long-running food series “Chef’s Table.” The streamer is set to unroll “Chef’s Table: Icons” and “Chef’s Table: Desserts,” and for the first time, creator David Gelb is also directing every episode of both seasons himself. It’s the first time he’s directed an entire run of “Chef’s Table” since the series first launched in 2015.
Both seasons consist of four episodes; featured chefs will be announced at a later date. Production is currently underway on the series around the world.
