OT7 champions. Overtime NBC will air live — and Peacock will stream — Overtime’s OT7 spring seven-on-seven touch football league’s championship game this year, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. It will mark the first time the OT7 title game is being televised.
The OT7 championship game, which will take place in California (location TBD), will be presented and promoted alongside the Navy All-American Bowl, the high school football all-star game that has been televised by NBC Sports for more than 20 years. Other “select” OT7 playoff games will be aired on the league’s “championship weekend,” June 13-14 at 2 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, Overtime says.

OT7 is a high-speed touch football game for high school kids. Even without pads, hitting and four other players (per team), the modified game can still breed college stars. Most of these kids play regular football in the fall; OT7 is sort of a supplemental passing academy-type league.
More than 100 league alumni played on SEC and Big Ten teams last seasons, Overtime says. Notable former OT7 and Navy All-American Bowl alumni include Ohio State wide receiver and 2025 unanimous All-American Jeremiah Smith, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, and Houston quarterback commit Keisean Henderson (the number one player in the class of 2026 and the first underclassmen to be named MVP of the Navy All-American Bowl).
The Navy All-American Bowl is the most-watched high school sporting event in the country. In its 27-year history (it’s been on an NBC Sports TV channel since 2002), the game has delivered 630 NFL players. The bowl partnered with Overtime, a sports-media company and league operator focused on Gen Z, in the sales, distribution and original content businesses in January.
“We don’t think about this as a single broadcast event. We think about it as the beginning of a longterm relationship between OT7, NBC Sports, and millions of fans that follow these football properties,” said Marc Kohn, president of content & media, Overtime. “Our job now is to make the fan experience so compelling they become lifelong fans of OT7 and the Navy All-American Bowl. That’s what we’re focused on.”
“NBC Sports’ partnership with Overtime’s OT7’s and its extensive social media presence provides a powerful national showcase and platform for the best high school football players in the country,” said Gary Quinn, vice president, partnerships & owned properties, NBC Sports. “As the home of the Navy All-American Bowl and now OT7’s Championship weekend, NBC Sports can continue elevating the opportunities for these elite high school athletes and our corporate partners.”
