NBC News 9/11 Coverage Includes Special Broadcasts of ‘Dateline,’ ‘Today’

NBC News will present never-before-seen footage from its coverage of 9/11 in a documentary on “Dateline” as part of its commemmoration of the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on that date.

The NBCUniversal-backed news division will present special coverage across next week on “Today,” “NBC Nightly News,” “Dateline,” “Meet the Press,” NBC News Now and NBCNews,.com.

Anchor Lester Holt will present a one-hour documentary on next Friday’s “Dateline” that revisits New Yorkers whose experiences were captured by NBC News cameras on Sept. 11, 2001. These people will reflect on their experience and discuss how the attacks shaped their lives.
