The Gallerist,” a Miami-set satire of the art world starring Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega, has been acquired by Roadside Attractions and Vertical.

The movie will open in theaters on Dec. 4, nearly a year after it premiered at Sundance Film Festival.

Cathy Yan directed “The Gallerist,” a dark comedic thriller in which Portman portrays an artist who is trying to make a name for herself at Art Basel in Miami and ends up trying to cover up a fatal accident by selling the dead body as a work of art. Sterling K. Brown, Zach Galifianakis, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Catherine Zeta-Jones round out the cast.
