Morgan Jay, the breakout standup comic known for his auto-tuned microphone and crowd work during performances, is set to host the 26th Golden Trailer Awards.

The May 28 awards ceremony at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills will honor the best in Hollywood movie and TV/streaming series previews, including trailers, commercials and posters. The Golden Trailers Awards gig will see Jay work a room full of studio marketing execs, movie fans, celebrities and trailer editors. “Part of what makes this show special is its energy—it’s fast, creative, and genuinely fun. Morgan brings that same spirit with a unique mix of music, comedy, and crowd connection. He doesn’t just perform to the audience—he pulls them into the experience, which makes him an ideal host for our night,” Evelyn Brady, Golden Trailer Awards executive director and co-founder, said in a statement.

The awards show also sees trophies handed out across 114 categories. In 2025, agency Buddha Jones won the top honor for their work bringing the undead to life on Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later trailer, titled “Days,” which earned the Best of Show award.

Beyond the hardware to be handed out, Golden Trailer Awards organizers are promising a “raucous” evening for the industry creatives set to fill the Saban Theatre. “Morgan’s quick wit and gentle crowd work has just the right vibe. Combined with his incredible social reach, we’re thrilled he’ll be our host,” Monica Brady, the show’s executive producer and co-founder, added in her own statement.
