Courtesy Image Mo’Nique has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment for representation in all areas, Variety has learned. She continues to be repped by attorney Ricky Anderson and manager Sidney Hicks.
Mo’Nique first broke out as a stand up comic, including being one of the stars of the stand up film “The Queens of Comedy.” She earned a Grammy nomination for best spoken comedy album for the film. She also made notable appearances on shows like “Showtime at the Apollo” and “Def Comedy Jam.” Her stand up specials include “I Could Have Been Your Cellmate” and “Mo’Nique & Friends: Live from Atlanta” for Showtime and “My Name is Mo’Nique” for Netflix.
