Dean and Allie fans, rejoice! Your time has come.

Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla have been tapped to lead Off Campus season two, Prime Video announced Thursday. It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to fans of the series, which premiered on the streamer May 13, as the pairing had an episode dedicated to their complicated not-quite relationship.

Following the success of season one, the show’s next installment will adapt the plot of Elle Kennedy’s third novel in the Off Campus series, The Score. It centers on lovable party boy turned certified lover boy Dean Di Laurentis (Kalyn) and aspiring actress and the ultimate best friend Allie Hayes (Abdalla). Both Kalyn and Abdalla’s characters were fan favorites during the season one run.

“I consider [episode six] a pilot episode or a soft launch for season two and what you’re going to expect,” Kalyn told The Hollywood Reporter. “I was so grateful to learn from Ella [Bright] and Belmont [Cameli] and watch those two great phenomenal actors lead season one.”

Abdalla had similar sentiments, sharing her excitement for getting to work more closely with her co-star. “I truly love working with Stephen so much. We didn’t get to do very many emotional scenes together [in season one], but when we did, we really fed off of each other in a really fulfilling way,” she told THR. “I’m excited that I get to do this with him because I trust him so much. I trust that he will be there for me, and I will be there for him on days that are more intense than anything we experienced season one.”

Creator and showrunner Louisa Levy promised fans that season’s one leading couple weren’t going anywhere. “We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two after kickstarting their romance in season one. But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble. We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story,” she said in a release.

The book series Off Campus, which begins with The Deal, follows a new-but-connected couple in each book. The show plans to keep that model. Season one dove headfirst into the age-old romantic trope of fake dating with music student Hannah Wells (Bright), who, in true hockey fashion, is often called Wellsy by her love interest, Garrett Graham (Cameli). Graham is the son of a professional hockey legend and captain of Briar University’s hockey team.

Off Campus has become a hit for Prime Video. The series reached 36 million viewers worldwide over its first 12 days of release, according to figures shared by the Amazon-owned streamer. It comes in as Prime Video’s third largest series debut over that amount of time, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Fallout.

Both Kalyn and Abdalla will join several of their cast members and other YA-focused Prime Video titles at Amazon’s first Obsessed Fest on June 27. The daylong fan experience is set to bring together cast and creatives from Off Campus, The Love Hypothesis, Overcompensating, Every Year After, Elle, The Devil’s Mouth, Your Fault: London, Drawn Together, Maxton Hall, The Last Sunrise and Red, White and Royal Blue Wedding.

Levy serves as Off Campus’ creator and co-showrunner, executive producing alongside fellow showrunner Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman executive produce for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty also exec produce.

All episodes of Off Campus are streaming now on Prime Video. Read THR‘s show coverage here.
