In case you missed it earlier, an Israeli strike hit Beirut’s southern suburbs early on Friday, according to Lebanese media, while several explosions were heard coming from the Hezbollah stronghold and smoke was seen rising from the area.
Israel has previously issued sweeping evacuation warnings for the area but provided no specific warning in advance of Friday’s strike, Agence France-Presse reported. It was unclear if there were any casualties.
