Getty Megan Thee Stallion is recovering after being rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after falling “very ill” while starring in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” on Broadway. She is expected to return to the show on Thursday.
“On Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms,” a statement to Variety from her rep reads. “Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged and is now resting.
