Megan Thee Stallion is on the mend after suffering “extreme exhaustion” during a performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, a rep for the rapper tells Rolling Stone. The rapper’s condition forced her to abruptly end the performance midway through and check into the hospital.

“On Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms,” the rapper’s rep said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms.”

The rapper “has since been treated, discharged and is now resting,” the rep added.

Megan started feeling ill during Tuesday night’s performance of the hit Broadway show. At the time, her rep told Rolling Stone she was “promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated.”

While little information was known about her confinement, the Grammy winner’s hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, wrote in a separate X post after the incident, “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital.”

In February, Megan announced that she was joining the cast of Broadway’s Moulin Rouge! The Musical to portray Moulin Rouge owner and MC, Zidler. Her run with the production commenced on March 24 and concludes May 17.

“I’ve always believed in pushing myself creatively,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a statement to The New York Times about her role, “and theater is definitely a new opportunity that I’m excited to embrace.”
