Veteran music executive Mark Pitts has officially stepped down from his role as president of Sony Music‘s RCA Records and will launch his new venture Cofvnders, a multi-media management company, he announced on Tuesday. Pitts will maintain his relationship with the RCA/Sony Music family, as a consultant on the acts he worked closely with and developed.
Cofvnders, based in New York and Los Angeles has quietly played a key role in helping to orchestrate “The R&B Tour,” headlined by Usher and Chris Brown, for which Pitts is a producer in partnership with Live Nation. The tour launches June 25th in Denver, Colorado.
