Madi Makambu” by Machérie Ekwa Bahango won five Final Cut awards at the Venice Film Festival, including the coveted La Biennale di Venezia Prize.

Now in its 14th edition, Final Cut supports films in post-production from all African countries and six countries in Middle East: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Yemen. 

The story focuses on two lovers, Madi and Djino, forced to acknowledge Madi’s child after she experiences pregnancy denial.
