The Love Island USA app is definitely feeling the love, too.

After the app crashed Tuesday night during the first season eight fan vote, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the number of unique users visiting the Love Island USA app during that period was up nearly 350 percent compared to the amount of users in the first season seven fan vote last year (Well, that explains the “network error.”)

The abundance of fans that flooded the app to cast their vote that night also exceeded season seven’s all-time high (which was for the finale vote) by over one million.

When voting opened on Tuesday following the latest episode, fans got to choose which Islanders the new bombshells should couple up with. However, people were met with a “network error” message, leaving them frustrated as the initial period ended with many not being able cast their vote.

Peacock later updated fans that their team was working to resolve the issue. On Wednesday morning, the show shared that the app crashed due to so many people trying to vote, but that they extended the voting period. “Your overwhelming enthusiasm for America’s first vote caused the app to crash. But don’t worry, we are extending the voting window until 3 pm ET / 12pm PT on Wednesday, June 10!” the post read at the time.

The show is clearly continuing to dominate with viewers and the stats prove it, as the show also set a premiere week viewing record for Peacock. In addition, the Love Island USA app is also topping the App Store’s “Top Free App” chart, taking over ChatGPT.

New episodes of Love Island USA drop Thursdays through Tuesdays, with Love Island Aftersun (hosted by Ciara Miller and content creator Tefi Pessoa) airing every Saturday. Check out all of THR‘s Love Island USA season eight coverage and interviews here.
