The veteran publicity and communications executive, who exited her role as executive vp communications for Paramount’s Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios amid David Ellison’s Skydance merger, has been hired at Anonymous Content in the newly created role of chief communications and marketing officer. She reports directly to Anonymous Content president and CEO Darren Walker.
At the premium content and management company, Fefferman will be charged with leading a centralized communications and marketing organization across Anonymous Content’s three verticals. She joins as the company is readying six TV premieres over the next 18 months including Savant starring Jessica Chastain; East of Eden starring Florence Pugh; Neuromancer starring Callum Turner; 12 12 12 starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan; American Classic starring Kevin Kline; and the adaptation of Little House on the Prairie.
On the film front, Anonymous Content is producing Tom McCarthy’s The Statement based on the book Losing Earth and starring Paul Rudd, Evan Peters, Amy Ryan, Paul Giamatti, John Turturro, Tatiana Maslany and Jason Clarke.

At Paramount, she oversaw a big team and managed corporate strategy, crisis management, media relations, awards, social impact and internal communications. She oversaw hundreds of new and returning launches including important studio franchises like Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe, South Park and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. During her tenure, she founded and co-led MTV Documentary Films which earned seven Oscar nominations, two Peabody Awards, four Emmys and 12 Emmy noms.
Fefferman’s resume includes senior leadership positions at RADiUS-TWC, Samuel Goldwyn Films and the Weinstein Company. She began her career at Dan Klores Communications where she created DKC/Film. Fefferman is a member of AMPAS, BAFTA and the Television Academy.
Anonymous Content, founded by the late Steve Golin in 1999, represents a roster of more than 200 directors, writers, actors and comedians. The firm operates a commercial division and a film and TV production division. Since 2016, Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective has held a majority stake.
