Vice President Vance will brief the media at 11 a.m. from the White House as President Trump’s memorandum of understanding with Iran comes under fire from Republicans.

Trump signed the MOU Iran while dining late Wednesday at the Palace of Versailles with French President Emmanuel Macron. He’s set to return to the United States this morning.

The deal itself is quickly coming under scrutiny from Republican allies and Iran hawks on Capitol Hill and off.

With the deal now in effect, ships may start passing through the Strait of Hormuz. But thousands of mines placed in the Strait of Hormuz threaten to delay the full reopening of the key waterway.

The Supreme Court will hand down opinions Thursday morning, as its term winds down and with about eight major rulings outstanding.

The Senate is expected to vote Thursday morning on housing affordability legislation.

Trump on Thursday is set to participate in an interview and a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House.
