Arizona voters are at the polls Tuesday to pick nominees for November’s congressional races.
There are two open House seats up for grabs, with Republican Reps. Andy Biggs and David Schweikert jostling in a GOP primary to take on Gov. Katie Hobbs this fall.
Schweikert’s seat in the 1st Congressional District is a prime pickup opportunity for Democrats. State Rep. Amish Shah and former news anchor Marlene Galan-Woods are duking it for the Democratic nod to take on Jay Feely, a former Arizona Cardinals football player backed by President Trump.
Meanwhile, Biggs is giving up his seat in the ruby red 5th Congressional District where former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is expected to clinch the GOP nod. Lamb is endorsed by Trump.
Polls close at 10 p.m. EDT. Follow Decision Desk HQ’s live results below.
