©Lions Gate/Courtesy Everett Collection Revenues increased and profits rebounded during Lionsgate‘s most recent quarter thanks to the box office success of “The Housemaid.”
Overall revenues hit $906.5 million, which compared favorably to the $865.6 billion in revenues that Lionsgate reported in the same year-ago quarter. The rise in sales was driven primarily by the motion picture group, which saw revenue up 23% and segment profit up 39%. That’s as the movie division seems to have recaptured its former glory, releasing hits like “The Long Walk” and “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” after a sustained theatrical slump in 2025.
