Kim Kardashian Amy Sussman/Getty Images Kim Kardashian has joined the Broadway producing team of The Fear of 13.
The play, starring Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson, centers on the true story of Nick Yarris, who spends more than two decades on death row for a murder he insists he did not commit. This marks the Broadway debut for Kardashian, who has frequently visited the White House to meet with President Trump to advocate for clemency on behalf of inmates, and whose efforts led to the commuting of the life sentence for Alice Marie Johson, who was convicted on a drug offense.

“My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been about more than just policy – it’s about people. I’ve learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story. The Fear of 13 is that story. It’s a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris’s wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars for twenty years. I couldn’t be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight,” Kardashian said.
The play, written by Lindsey Ferrentino and directed by David Cromer comes to Broadway after a West End run. The Broadway cast also includes Ephraim Sykes, Michael Cavinder, Eddie Cooper, Victor Cruz, Eboni Flowers, Joel Marsh Garland, Jared Wayne Gladly, Joe Joseph, Jeb Kreager and Ben Thompson.
The play began previews at the James Earl Jones Theatre on March 19, ahead of an April 15 opening. Opening night of the play is set for April 15 at the James Earl Jones Theatre.
