Set to take place in New York at The Pool on Sept. 10, the event will be led once again by founding co-hosts Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault with a roster that includes Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Benicio Del Toro, Nacho Figueras, Dakota Johnson and Lorna Simpson. The event, which will raise funds for organizations that work to end gender-based violence, will feature a (to-be-announced) special performance as well as a live auction of one-of-a-kind items and experiences from Kering’s fashion houses like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato and Ginori 1735. This fall’s installment follows last year’s event, which raised more than $4.5 million for the cause.

“Salma and I created the Caring for Women dinner to raise essential funds for organizations working to end gender-based violence and to mobilize a broader community around this critical mission at the heart of the Kering Foundation’s work,” said Pinault, chairman of both Kering and the Kering Foundation. “As we mark its fifth edition, the dinner stands as a powerful reminder of what this community can achieve when it comes together with purpose.”
Added Marie-Claire Daveu, Kering chief sustainability and institutional affairs officer: “For nearly two decades, the Kering Foundation has worked alongside specialist organizations to prevent gender-based violence, support survivors and help break cycles of violence before they continue to the next generation. The Caring for Women Dinner is an important expression of that commitment, bringing together a community whose generosity helps turn awareness into concrete resources for organizations doing this work every day.”
Funds for September’s event will be funneled toward the following organizations: Activating Change, the only U.S. nonprofit focused on ending violence against people with disabilities and deaf people; Fondo Semillas, a nonprofit organization in Mexico dedicated to providing funding, training and support to women’s groups working to advance gender equality; JBWS (Jersey Battered Women’s Service), a nonprofit dedicated to preventing domestic violence and empowering survivors through trauma-informed services, education and advocacy in Morris and Passaic counties; and New York Women’s Foundation/the Girls and Young Women Fund, an organization that seeks to enable women, girls and gender-expansive people to achieve economic security, exercise agency over their lives and thrive in safe, equitable communities.
