Kanye West Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images Ye, the rapper and fashion mogul formerly known as Kanye West, has settled a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former assistant who accused him of multiple instances of sexual abuse and assault over the year she worked for him.
The civil suit, one of several filed against the artist, will be withdrawn within 45 days after West reached an unconditional settlement with his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, on July 23, according to court documents. Terms of the settlement, which was submitted to a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, were not disclosed.

Pisciotta worked as an assistant to the rapper and Yeezy mogul from 2021 to 2022, during which time she claimed in an initial June 2024 filing that she was subjected to explicit materials, including texts, pornographic photos, videos and phone calls from Ye, and was then “wrongfully terminated” from her position. She also filed suit against West and some of his companies for fraud, unpaid wages and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The lawsuit was expanded later that year with Pisciotta amending the allegations to include sexual assault, claiming West “touched, groped, fondled, grabbed and forced himself in and on” her while she was employed by him.
In July 2025, a second amendment was added to the complaint with allegations of assault, sexual battery and oral rape; West attempted to penetrate Pisciotta vaginally with his fingers, forcibly kissed her and orally raped her while the two were on a work trip in 2021, the lawsuit claimed.
“On one occasion, Ye attempted to vaginally penetrate Ms. Pisciotta with his fingers. On another occasion, he orally raped her without her consent. Both assaults occurred during the course of Ms. Pisciotta’s employment,” the complaint states, adding that he subjected her to “obscene comments about her body, demanded she wear tight-fitting clothing [and] groped her on a regular basis.” It also says he forced her to watch him perform sexual acts with other women, sent her sexually explicit pictures and demanded she do the same, and repeatedly demanded she join his sexual encounters — demands Pisciotta refused, the complaint states.
Pisciotta also alleged that West “offered someone the opportunity” to have sex with her in exchange for allowing him to have sex with their significant other.
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali, on Thursday but did not hear back.
West denied the allegations when the suit was initially filed and again through a representative in 2025, who referred to the added claims as “fantasy fiction.” THR also reached out to a representative for Ye on Thursday regarding the settlement but did not have a message returned.
In June 2024, a rep stated that “it is well documented how Ms. Pisciotta consistently used sexual coercion in an attempt to demand not only money but material items, namely Hermès Birkin bags, a Lamborghini and an endless quest for plastic surgery.”
