Moore will executive produce from a script by "Loot" writer Maggie Sheridan

Getty Images After a string of dramatic roles, Oscar winner Julianne Moore is walking toward the light as executive producer and star of a new Netflix comedy film.
The untitled project hails from Higher Ground, the production venture founded by Barack and Michelle Obama. It’s described as a multi-generational story in the vein of “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” and follows a mother (Moore) who panics when her daughter is offered a promotion that would take her across the country. Desperate, she kicks into overdrive trying to find the ideal romantic partner to keep her daughter at home.
