Courtesy of Disney Josh D’Amaro, who is getting the keys to the Magic Kingdom as he assumes the role of Disney‘s ninth CEO on Wednesday, spelled out the priorities for the company under his leadership — which do not suggest he is going to depart radically from the strategy under previous chief Bob Iger.
D’Amaro, in a memo to employees, detailed three priorities. First, he said, “great storytelling and creative excellence will remain our North Star. They underpin every decision we make. We will continue to raise the bar, take smart risks, learn quickly, and deliver work that exceeds our audiences’ expectations and our own.”
