Stewart most recently signed a one-year deal to continue his duties on The Daily Show through 2026. With the end of that agreement approaching, he re-upped. The two-year deal, notably, extends Stewart’s run on the show through the 2028 presidential election cycle.
Stewart rejoined The Daily Show in 2024, anchoring the show once a week (usually on Mondays) and serving as an executive producer. He also hosts the related Weekly Show podcast.
