Jennifer Lawrence played the “X-Men” character Mystique four times on the big screen between 2011 and 2019, and it appears she has no interest whatsoever in slipping back into the mutant’s iconic blue skin. In fact, the Oscar winner’s days of undergoing any extreme makeup and/or prosthetics-driven character transformation are likely over.

“My favorite part of playing Mystique was the stunts,” Lawrence said in a video interview with Allure magazine. “It was so fun to train in that way and learn how to move. I had the same stunt double, Renee Moneymaker, who was Katniss. She is one of my best friends, so that was great. My least favorite part was most certainly the paint.”
