©Paramount/Courtesy Everett Collection The joke’s over: “Jackass: Best and Last” will be available to stream on Paramount+ on Sept. 24.
After the film’s theatrical release on June 26, the decades-long saga of pranks and tomfoolery is finally coming to an end. The “Jackass” crew’s wild ride from MTV show to five-part film series officially concludes with its move to streaming.
The original cast members, including Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Dave England, Preston Lacy and Ehren McGhehey, all reunited for one last round of pranks in “Best and Last.” The film comes four years after “Jackass Forever,” in which the cast stuck to their debaucherous ways, while introducing a new generation of pranksters. During production of that movie, Knoxville was pummeled by a bull, leaving him with a brain hemorrhage, concussion, broken wrist and broken rib that forced him to semi-retire.
