The self-proclaimed seventh son officially has his seventh solo album on the way.

After quietly dropping a presale link for his latest album on his Third Man Records website on Tuesday, Jack White officially announced Frozen Charlotte and its upcoming release on Wednesday, dropping the album’s lead single “Dollar Bill” today as well. The album will release on July 10, the same day he starts the North American leg of his tour.

Other than “Dollar Bill,” “Derecho Demonico” and “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs,” which White had released earlier this year, will also appear on the album.

White had first teased the project through several Easter eggs hidden in his new online series Third Man Release Lab. The tease and unannounced album arrival on his site isn’t White’s first time employing an unorthodox release method for his music; back in 2024, he discreetly dropped his sixth album No Name by giving away unmarked copies for free to anyone who made a purchase at his Third Man Records stores. He subsequently gave a more official release for the Grammy-nominated album a month later.

While Frozen Charlotte marks White’s first album in two years, he’s certainly kept busy.

Back in April, White played a surprise set at Coachella weekend one after getting added to the bill a few days prior. He also played Saturday Night Live when Jack Black hosted and joined the five-timers club, and he was one of the final guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, joining Colbert last month as well on a public access program the late-night host had put together the day after the final CBS show. Earlier this year, White also opened an art instillation in London.

White will start the North American leg of his 2026 tour at the Anthem in Washington, D.C. on July 10, and he’ll be on the road through much of the year through November, when he wraps the tour up at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta on Nov. 21.
