The Emmy nominee has joined the upcoming Season 28 of “Law & Order: SVU” in a recurring role. She will play jury consultant Gwen Sharpe, but plot details relating to her character are kept under wraps.

Smith-Cameron is best known for playing Gerri Kellman across four seasons of HBO’s “Succession.” The role earned her nominations for two Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award. She won two SAG Awards for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.

Smith-Cameron will next be seen in “Seven Sisters,” which was recently picked up to series by FX, opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti. She will also co-star in Jeff Rutherford’s upcoming sophomore feature film, “In Our Sweet Way.” Her TV credits also include “Hacks,” “Elsbeth,” “Murdaugh: A Death in the Family,” “Rectify” and “Waco: The Aftermath.”
