An Iranian official on Wednesday warned Gulf states that Iran has “no red lines” when it comes to its defense, following a threat from President Trump to launch another “big attack” on Iran in retaliation for its attacks on commercial ships.

“The Gulf states that have stood alongside Trump in the Iran-America regime conflict should watch over their oil and gas wells,” said Ebrahim Rezaei, a spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament on national security and foreign policy, on the social platform X

His post was translated from Persian by the AI tool Grok.

“In defense of the security of the great Iranian nation, we have no red lines.”

The official issued an earlier warning on Wednesday to Trump and American soldiers over the president’s repeated threats throughout the conflict that the U.S. will seize Kharg Island, which holds around 90 percent of Iran’s crude oil exports.

“Trump has once again spoken of occupying Kharg Island,” Rezaei wrote. “Come on, we’re waiting for you and we promise that not even a single American soldier will return alive.”

Trump on Wednesday told reporters at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, that the interim deal between the U.S. and Iran to stop the fighting was “over” following an overnight exchange of strikes between the two countries.

“To me, I think it’s over. I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They’re scum,” the president said.

The U.S. military launched retaliatory strikes against Iran after Tehran attacked at least three commercial vessels that were transiting the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping corridor.

Iran’s top negotiator and parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, accused the U.S. of violating the agreement.

“The era of bullying and extortion is over,” Qalibaf said in a post on social media. “It leads nowhere. We don’t fold.”

Peace negotiations between Washington and Tehran were put on hold in light of the funeral of slain Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and were expected to continue after his six-day funeral procession in Iran.
