Across her career, the singer has earned eight ARIA Awards, two BRIT Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and three Grammy nominations.
Elsewhere in Gloucestershire, Imbruglia also performed at Westonbirt Arboretum in June 2023, supporting Jack Savoretti as part of the Forestry England Forest Live summer concert series.
The concert will mark the third time Sir Tom Jones has performed at Kingsholm StadiumGloucester Rugby said the return of the Kingsholm Summer Series marked "an exciting new chapter for the venue", and Alex Brown, chief executive officer, said it will be "another standout event for the city".
"The response to this year's Kingsholm Summer Series has already been fantastic, and [Thursday's] announcement only adds to the excitement," Brown said.
Brown previously explained that the club would protect the stadium's artificial grass by covering it with special matting.
Concerts at Kingsholm Stadium drew crowds to the city in the 2010s, with the likes of McFly, Lionel Richie, Little Mix, and Elton John performing at the ground.
