The eight best basketball dunkers in the world are coming to primetime television this week as the Dunkman World Championship final airs on TNT.

The final eight take center court August 25 at 8 p.m. ET, live on TNT and TruTV as part of Dunkman, the first-ever professional league dedicated to dunking.

Launched this summer by TNT Sports, Authentic Brands Group and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal (who also serves as league commissioner), Dunkman began their season in July, with four weekly hour-long live events. Now, eight athletes remain to compete in a head-to-head, single-elimination bracket to determine the first-ever Dunkman World Champion.
