Last year, ESPN went all-in on streaming with the launch of ESPN Unlimited. The new direct-to-consumer streaming service brought all ESPN content under one roof, including its live game broadcasts, studio shows, and originals.

The launch of ESPN Unlimited has drastically switched up streaming options for sports fans. It adds another viewing option for sports shown on ESPN, like NFL, NBA, WNBA, and MLB, and some events — like UFC numbered shows and WWE events — are now exclusively available through the new service.

ESPN Unlimited is a great way to get a ton of sports coverage in one place, but there are two pieces of bad news. The first is that ESPN Unlimited is relatively pricey at $29.99 a month. The second is that ESPN Unlimited does not offer a free trial; you’ll have to shell out the full $30 to access anything on the streaming service.

How to Get an ESPN Unlimited Free Trial

ESPN Unlimited might not offer a free trial on its own, but you can get ESPN Unlimited for free through DirecTV and Fubo. Both of these streaming services include ESPN Unlimited in certain plans and offer free trials that you can use to watch ESPN Unlimited for free (for a limited time). Here are more details on these hacks:

Get ESPN Unlimited Free Trial with Fubo

All of Fubo’s plans start with a five-day free trial and include ESPN Unlimited (except the Latino plan). If you want to keep Fubo after the free trial ends, it’s still a great deal. Packages start at $55.99 a month, after a discounted first month, and carry up to 200+ live TV channels, including local, sports, news, and entertainment networks.

Get ESPN Unlimited Free Trial with DirecTV

Another way to get an ESPN Unlimited free trial is with DirecTV. This one offers complimentary ESPN Unlimited access in its MySports Genre Pack and all of its larger Signature Packages, which all start with a five-day free trial. After the trial, pricing begins at $69.99 a month.

How Much Is ESPN Unlimited?

If you want to get ESPN Unlimited without using one of the hacks above, you can sign up for the service here. It costs $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year for an annual plan. When signing up for ESPN Unlimited, you can also get ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu for an additional $6, totalling $35.99 per month for all three streamers.
