2026 GLAAD Awards Host, Performers
This year’s show is hosted by Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett, and features performances from Demi Lovato, singing her latest single, “Kiss,” and new pop artist Eli, who performs her TikTok hit, “Glitter.” The ceremony also featured a — spoiler alert — surprise appearance from entertainment icon Liza Minnelli, who was in the room to accept GLAAD’s inaugural Liza Minnelli Storyteller Award. The award is named after the EGOT winner to celebrate her six-decade career, and comes on the heels of her new memoir, Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!.

Buy Now On AmazonEmmy and Golden Globe Award winner Quinta Brunson received this year’s Vanguard Award, while Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers — co-hosts of the popular Las Culturistas podcast — received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, named after the late casting director who devoted his life to fighting against homophobia and for HIV/AIDS awareness.
A number of other awards will also be handed out on the Hulu stream, including Outstanding Film, Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Music Artist.
The cast of Heated Rivalry was on hand to accept the award for Outstanding New TV Series, with co-creators Brendan Brady and Jacob Tierney joined by Storrie, Arnaud, G.K., Nadine Bhabha and Christina Chang. The GLAAD Award win marked the first honor the show has received since it blew up over the winter. Recent Oscars red carpet scene-stealer Hudson Williams was not in attendance as he was filming a new project.
Also making appearances on the Hulu GLAAD Awards broadcast will be cast members from The Traitors, Palm Royale, Stranger Things, and Southern Hospitality.
