Harry Smith and former Netflix executive Siddhi Sundar pose together in a promotional shot ahead of the debut of their new series, 'The Creative Executive.' Courtesy of Subjects The creator boom has delivered plenty of experts in various fields offering up advice, interviews and tips on how to get ahead in careers like finance, tech, beauty, wellness and everything in between. A new series is set to launch, focused on helping creative executives succeed, and comes from those who know Hollywood well.
Aptly titled The Creative Executive, it doubles as a YouTube series and business platform. Launching in partnership with Wispr Flow and executive coaching firm Novus Global on Oct. 8, it comes from Harry Smith, known as the brother of Oscar-winning actor Will Smith, and Siddhi Sundar, a filmmaker and former Netflix executive.

The Hollywood Reporter received the roster of season one guests and it includes many familiar names from the Will Smith universe, including the man himself. He sat for a lengthy interview, and the 90-minute chat will close the season. It finds him talking about everything from creative partnerships and building a family enterprise to career longevity. (No word on whether he addresses the Oscar scandal.)
Other guests include veteran Hollywood producer Todd Black, who worked with Will on The Pursuit of Happyness, Emancipation and Seven Pounds as well as Fences, the Equalizer franchise, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, The Magnificent Seven and dozens of other films; film and TV producer Caleeb Pinkett (brother of Jada Pinkett Smith) who worked on Cobra Kai and After Earth; Real Husbands of Hollywood co-creator Chris Spencer; Grammy Award winner MAJOR.; and former Universal Pictures and Westbrook Studios top executive Jon Mone, who will speak on his unplanned path from CAA’s mailroom to running major studios.

Courtesy of The Creative Executive There’s also an episode that digs into the decades-long business partnership of Harry and Will Smith, a “deep dive” into film distribution economics through Smith Global Media, Harry’s production and distribution company, and an installment on Harry’s varied business interests like real estate development and construction experience, work that has seen him collaborating with hospitality brands Capella, Starwood Hotels and W Hotels. One more: Harry and Sundar go deep on mentorship.
Beyond the chats, each of the nine episodes is paired with subscriber-based curriculum designed to help artists, founders and entertainment professionals build careers and businesses around their work using frameworks, case studies and playbooks. But because it’s launching in 2026 and is doing so with partners like Wispr Flow, which is an artificial intelligence-powered dictation tool, the modern series will include guidance on how to integrate AI into creative workflows.
“Most of what creatives need to know about business, technology, and media isn’t taught in one place —and the people who’ve succeeded at the highest levels are often the hardest to access,” Harry Smith and Sundar said in a joint statement. “We created this platform to close that gap, turning real-world conversations and hard-won experience into practical education that helps emerging creatives navigate the future without losing their voice.”
Harry is the former CEO of Smith Global Media and founder of Treyball Development. Sundar served as head of product innovation research at Netflix, where she spent eight years. She currently works as CTO of Innovative Dreams, a production startup pioneering a new approach to filmmaking.
