Variety via Getty Images “Fall” and “Shazam!” star Grace Caroline Currey is set to lead the cast of upcoming elevated crime thriller “Dead Miles,” being launched in the Cannes market by VMI Worldwide.
The film — from Minds Eye Entertainment — is being directed and written by Tom Levesque (“Shut Eye”) and is slated to begin production in British Columbia.
Currey will be playing Ellen, a struggling gig-economy worker whose pursuit of becoming an online influencer takes a dark and dangerous turn when she meets Nelson, a volatile and unpredictable criminal. He drags her through a brutal night of violent heists that forces her to confront just how far she’s willing to go — and what she’s capable of when she gets there.
