Gotterup wins John Deere Classic title after thrilling final round

Chris Gotterup produced a weekend-best 62 with a stunning nine birdies in his final round to claim the John Deere Classic title, finishing 20 under in a thriller in Illinois.

Gotterup - caddied by his brother Patrick - was pushed to the limit by Ben Kohles, who shared the co-lead going to the 18th before finding the water with his second shot, eventually leading to a double-bogey that consigned him to a share of third place with Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges.
