“Good Morning America” anchor Will Reeve has revealed that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year.

According to People, the 34-year-old son of “Superman” star Christopher Reeve received the cancer diagnosis in the spring, which then spread to lymph nodes in his abdomen. Reeve is now cancer-free, as of a check-up on Sept. 8.

Reeve was inspired to share his story with the world by his parents. In 1995, when Will was 2 years old, his father was thrown from a horse and paralyzed from the neck down. He became an advocate for spinal cord injury awareness and research alongside his wife, Dana Reeve, launching the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Christopher died in 2004 at the age of 52, and Dana died two years later from lung cancer at the age of 44. Will paid tribute to his parents alongside his siblings Matthew and Alexandra in the documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” which released in 2024.
