'Blood Red - Under the Moonlight' Credit: Paulo Belote Globo has sold to the BBC “Blood Red – Under the Moonlight,” a teen werewolf/vampire love triangle thriller now bound for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three.
The biggest new announcement set for a packed Mipcom Globo Showcase on Sunday evening, the BBC deal marks a milestone for Globo streaming service Globoplay, the first time a Globoplay Original has been licensed to the BBC, whose acquisitions, as in the days of Nordic Noir still mark one gold standards for non-English-language fiction.
