Glen Powell’s Comedy From Judd Apatow Reveals Title Ahead of 2027 Release

Glen Powell is set to take center stage in a new comedy from Judd Apatow.

Universal Pictures announced Monday that the name of the previously untitled feature is The Comeback Kid. The film features Powell as a country western star in free fall.

Cristin Milioti, Madelyn Cline, Stavros Halkias and Li Jin Hao round out the cast. Apatow helms the movie from a script he wrote with Powell.

Apatow produces for Apatow Productions through its long-standing overall deal with the studio, while Powell and Dan Cohen produce for Barnstorm via the first-look deal with Universal that was signed last year. Former Universal president of production Kevin Misher also produces for Misher Films.
