The animated action comedy series, introduced at Annecy in 2024 as ‘Heist Safari,’ is now in production

Credit: CNS WBA HBO Max. “Heist Brothers,” an animated action comedy first teased by Genndy Tartakovsky at 2024’s Annecy as “Heist Safari,” has now been fully greenlit for series by Adult Swim.
The news looks like some of the biggest at this year’s Adult Swim Studio Focus, a fixture on Friday at Annecy which draws to a close the big U.S. studio showcases at a French festival which they have made their own.
