Disney The Hulu crime drama “Furious” has cleared 43 million hours watched since it premiered, according to Disney.
Starring Emmy Rossum as an FBI agent investigating a female serial killer (Lola Petticrew), the Elizabeth Meriwether-created series achieved that in about five weeks, having debuted on July 27. The 43 million hour-total translates to roughly 6.2 million estimated “views,” a statistic calculated by dividing total time watched by runtime. Because the first three episodes have had since late July to accrue viewership whereas the finale has been available for less than a week, the number of discrete viewers who have tuned into “Furious” at any point is likely much higher than 6.2 million, and the view count will continue to rise as people catch up to the finale.
