Getty Images Front Office Sports is getting into the daily TV sports news game.
The company, the online outlet known for its aggressive coverage of the sports biz, is gearing up to launch a daily TV news program, “Front Office Sports Tonight”: a 30-minute, nationally syndicated show covering the biggest sports stories of the day.
But the approach will not be the highlights-and-recaps format of shows like ESPN’s “SportsCenter.” The Front Office Sports daily program will “go beyond the field of play to break down the most important cultural, entertainment and business stories in the world of sports,” the company says.
