Adorned in jewelry, the pair were joined onstage by a group of female dancers, accentuating their stage show. Max B, wearing all black, had a beat switch while delivering his verse, adding a unique wrinkle to the set.
Midway through the performance, French and Max B were joined by Rick Ross for “Minks In Miami,” with all three artists rocking lavish fur coats while surrounded by pyrotechnics.
Released as the lead single from French and Max B’s Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos mixtape, “Ever Since U Left Me (I Went Deaf)” has become one of the biggest hits of the year, marking a resurgent return for the duo following Max’s release from prison.
In addition to their performance, French Montana and Max B were nominated in the Best Group category.
Topping Billboard’s US Rhythmic Airplay chart, the song, built around a prominent sample of “That’s the Way (I Like It)” by KC and the Sunshine Band, has yielded a “West Coast” remix featuring Ty Dolla Sign, and the “Big Bronx” remix alongside Remy Ma.
Rozay’s 2026 BET Awards performance marks his fifth time performing at the event, and his first in over a decade. His last BET Awards performance was in 2012, when he took the stage alongside then-Maybach Music Group artists Meek Mill and Wale for a medley of collaborative and solo efforts. That same year also marked Ross’ last nomination as a lead artist, as he was included in the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist category, one of four instances in which he received that honor.
His last BET Award nomination, for Best Collaboration, came in 2015 via his work on Chris Brown’s hit single “New Flame” featuring Usher.
