Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images British police are reportedly investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor following the arrest of the former royal in February.
Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew and brother of King Charles, was arrested on a charge of suspicion of misconduct in public office following the revelations in the then-recently released Epstein files.
While the exact nature of the accusation wasn’t revealed, it was reported that the charge was related to trade reports that Mountbatten-Windsor sent to Jeffrey Epstein in 2010 while serving as a U.K. trade envoy.
However, the BBC reports that the investigation has now expanded to allegations of sexual misconduct, which include a report that Epstein sent a non-British woman to the former prince’s residence Royal Lodge in 2010. Police have reportedly been in contact with the woman and her lawyers.
