FIFA on Tuesday unveiled the six celebrities who will star at the closing ceremony of the men’s World Cup final on Sunday.
Singers Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger and Robbie Williams, along with streamer IShowSpeed — whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr. — will deliver performances prior to the match kicking off at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., FIFA announced in a release.
Singer Jennifer Hudson, a winner of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards, will also deliver a “special rendition” of the U.S. national anthem ahead of the final.
Actor Tom Cruise, who attended the U.S. men’s soccer team’s opening match of the tournament against Paraguay last month, will also appear at the ceremony.
“Opening the Final with a star-studded list of performers,” the World Cup’s official account wrote on social platform X. FIFA noted it will announce more artists and special guests for the closing ceremony “over the coming days.”
Four teams remain alive in the tournament: Argentina, England, France and Spain. France and Spain will face off in the first semifinal match at 3 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, while Argentina and England will play at the same time on Wednesday.
All four countries have won men’s World Cups before, with Argentina looking to defend its title from 2022, France trying to win its second title in the last three editions of the event and Spain seeking its second victory in 16 years.
England, though, has not won the World Cup since 1966, when it defeated West Germany in London.
No matter which two teams play in the final, fans in attendance will be treated to a halftime show featuring Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy, Gustavo Daniel, Coldplay and the New York-based PS22 Chorus.
The final will kick off at 3 p.m. EST on Sunday, with FIFA advising fans to arrive early ahead of the closing ceremony, which will start 90 minutes before kickoff. The gates at MetLife will open at 11 a.m. EST.
